Jacob’s Story

Wizzybug brings out Jacob's personality

Jacob, 3, has spinal muscular atrophy type 1 which causes extreme muscle weakness meaning he is dependent on others for mobility.

Thanks to Wizzybug, he can play out his cheeky and mischievous side. His dad, Dean, shared: “He’s just totally flourished with his Wizzybug.“

    Playtime never ends for Jacob

    The Wizzybug has supported Jacob’s social side and life with his friends at nursery. His dad added: “He likes to play hide and seek and chase with his friends using his Wizzybug. ​

    “He took to Wizzybug straight away and his mischievous side took over. ​

    “Not listening… driving into bushes after we asked him not to. He’s been so adventurous and if it looks like it’s going to be fun – a rocky surface, a grassy hill – he’s off!”​
