We are looking for an outstanding Engineering Technician to join the team in producing our range of assistive living products.

Salary: £18,000 per annum, including generous pension scheme

Hours: 37.5 hours (open to part time working)

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding Workshop Technician to join the team in producing our range of assistive living products. These include the hugely successful Wizzybug, our world-leading children’s powered wheelchair. The role also requires regular driving of the company minibus for deliveries and collections.

About you

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have ‘Hands-on’ experience of a range of mechanical engineering processes
  • Be a careful and methodical worker with good attention to detail
  • Ideally have undertaken further education or training in an engineering related discipline

Although the skills and experience outlined above are desirable, we welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds as further training can be provided on the job. The post holder must have GCSE Maths and English and a full clean driving license. Please also note, current hours of operation within the Engineering Workshop are between 8:00am and 4:30pm, however we are open to considering part time working or alternative working patterns.
