We’re seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join our small fundraising team as we look to expand our existing income generation streams.
Salary: Starting from £20,000, rising to £23,000 dependent upon experience (pro-rata for part time hours, if applicable)
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, but applicants seeking a minimum of 30 hours per week will be considered.
Location: Department D1, Royal United Hospital, Bath, BA1 3NG
About the role
You’ll work with the Fundraising Development Manager to deliver the community and events calendar of activities, as well as supporting individuals, groups and businesses with their own fundraising.
Previous fundraising experience is not essential and transferable skills will be considered. This position would suit anyone who has worked in a sales or public facing role previously. You will need to have great interpersonal skills, be confident when meeting new people, and have a desire to find new opportunities to promote the work of Designability and our case for support. There is plenty of scope within this role to put forward your own ideas for fundraising activities and a good level of creativity would be a benefit.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
This post is based in the Wolfson Centre, Department D1, Royal United Hospital, Bath, BA1 3NG.
Closing date: Sunday 17 March 2019
Interview date: Tuesday 26 March 2019
