We will be holding two webinars in January for those involved in the EV charging industry, to take a deep-dive into our Design Guidance, which will help make charging of an EV accessible for all. No one should be left behind in the transition to electric vehicles and good inclusive design at the start will avoid costly retrofit for the industry.

- We’ll take a deep dive so you can get to know the guidance in detail for areas such as:
- Signage and information,
- Built environment,
- The design of charging units.
- We’ll also look at next steps for your implementation of the design guidance.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions of the team in a live Q&A at the end.
Who is delivering the webinar?

We are delighted to have worked with Designability on the development of their Design Guidance for accessible public EV charging. Designability are now running two free webinars to take a deep-dive into the guidance and explain how manufacturers and procurers of EV charge points can ensure their infrastructure is accessible to all. The guidance accompanies the new BSI public electric vehicle charging standard (PAS 1899:2022), which was co-sponsored by Motability, the charity and the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, which was launched in October 2022. The standard provides industry with a clear specification for making charge points accessible, and is designed to apply to all charge points. Please do sign up for the relevant webinar to find out more.
