Have your say: How could cars be made more accessible?

Designability would like to hear how you think cars could be made more accessible for disabled people and older people.

We are about to start an important new project, funded by the Motability Foundation, to improve vehicle design and provide a better experience for all.

We would love to hear from:

  • Disabled people
  • Older people
  • People who travel with disabled or older people in private vehicles.

This part of this project is being delivered by the Research Institute for Disabled Consumers on behalf of Designability.

How to take part:

If you are a disabled person or older person, or if you travel with someone who is, please register your interest in this project and share your experiences by completing our short survey.

It should take around 20 minutes to complete, and you will have the chance to enter a prize draw where you could win one of five £50 vouchers.

The questionnaire will close at 5pm on 6 February 2024.

Your responses will help Designability to better understand how vehicles can be designed to meet the needs of disabled vehicle users, both now and in the future.
