Help us to develop our new wheelchair baby carrier

We are looking for mums, dads or grandparents who are using a manual wheelchair and a baby buggy at the same time and think a wheelchair baby carrier could be the answer

Designing a product to help parents to transport their children independently

Our new wheelchair baby carrier design project is open and we are looking for people who could help us to develop it into a useful product.

We need to understand lots of practical details about how wheelchairs and buggies work or don’t work when used together. We are looking for people who have experience of using a wheelchair and being a parent and are willing to share their experiences.

Who we are looking for

  • Three mums or dads who can work with us through the design and development phase of developing a new baby carrier.
  • Any mum, dad or grandparent who is a manual wheelchair user who would like to input by coming to a workshop in the Bath/Bristol area.
  • Any mum, dad or grandparent who is a manual wheelchair user who would like to join in by filling in short email surveys which will be used to inform and guide the project e.g. your views about practicalities and potential features.

Please get in touch

If you use a manual wheelchair and are a parent of babies or young children and need a wheelchair baby carrier, please get in touch.
