We are excited to share that Designability has been shortlisted for not one, but two, national awards!

The British Engineering Excellence Awards

The engineering team at the charity are in the running to receive two British Engineering Excellence Awards. The first is for ‘Engineering Ambassador’ which gives recognition to organisations who support students and recent graduates to pursue a successful career in engineering.

The second nomination is for our Design Engineer, Rob Hanson, who has been classed as the best of the best for ‘Young Designer of the Year’ for his innovative, creative work supporting people living with a disability.

The Children and Young People Now Awards

Our work on the Wizzybug Loan Scheme has led us to be nominated for ‘Best Charity’ at the Children and Young People Now Awards which is the gold standard for everyone working with children, young people and families. They have recognised the positive impact that the service provides to young, disabled children and their families.

The award winners will be announced on 5th October 2017 and 22nd November 2017, respectively. Fingers crossed!
